Set in the Grade II* listed Britannia Buildings, off St George’s square, Lala’s restaurant occupies a prominent frontage, and required the highest quality refurbishment.
The building had stood vacant for a long while after a building society moved out. Our design aimed to retain and show off as many of the building’s original features, while offering a practical and creative solution for our client.
Priestroyd Mills was a former iron works which had stood empty for some time. The Grade II listed building was converted tastefully into studio apartments as well as providing a bar and restaurant in the lower floors.
Old Commerce house stands on Fitzwilliam street, which is one of the main roads into Huddersfield town centre. The Grade II listed building features a grand facade as well as generously proportioned rooms.
The building stood empty for years and was subjected to decay and vandalism. Our design converted the building into student accommodation and kept and restored many of the buildings period features.
