Following previous works on a listed property, Acumen were approached by two of the occupants to design a cocktail bar & lounge.
Lounge 68 was noted in the national press for offering the most expensive cocktail in the world at the time, and became the hangout for local celebrities.
The property had apartments above meaning extensive sound attenuation was required.
The bar features a stunning planar glass facade to draw attention to the luxury interior finishes.

Following involvement with our clients bar & nightclub complex in Huddersfield, they opened another venture at Leopold Square in Sheffield, which was aimed at an upmarket clientele.
As the unit already had A3/4 planning consent, Acumen’s services were to provide interior design concepts, as well as obtaining building regulation approval allowing the client’s chosen shopfitter to deliver the project.

Coffee Boy took over a former Mini dealership premises to open their first outlet. Acumen acted as planning consultant to secure consent.
Additional services included the interior design concept, as well as building regulation approval, so the clients shopfitter could deliver the project.
Following the success of this project Acumen are involved with new outlets throughout the UK, with franchise opportunities available to others with Acumen retained as lead consultants.
